Adults Training
At Kinetic Martial Arts we cater for those adults that are returning to martial arts, and those that are new to them.
We have people of every size and shape in our classes. Men, women, big, small, tall, short, fit and getting fit.
Training at Kinetic Martial Arts will help you:
- improve your physical strength, fitness & flexibility;
- develop a disciplined mind;
- control your own thoughts;
- become capable of protecting yourself and your loved ones;
- lose weight and tone up;
or maybe realise that youthful dream of having some cool martial arts skills.
You can choose to train in one or more of the following arts:
Our classes have a strong focus on strength, fitness and flexibility and are structured to give beginners the
maximum rate of improvement in fitness and technical ability in the minimum amount of time, and to provide experienced students
with a challenging class.
In addition to general training, our club also offers a number of opportunities for further training, including:
- Belt specific sessions – where the instructors will focus just on your level and you’ll get to meet and train with others
at your level
- Signature sessions – where you can get one-on-one assistance with techniques, in preparation for any potential gradings
- “Hwarang” (full day training) sessions - named after an elite group of youth who originally congregated to study the arts
and culture in Korea
- Seminars eg. Wood-breaking, street-self defence, women’s self-defence, meditation, BJJ, etc.
- Traditional weapons – learn to use the Ji pangi (walking stick), Bo (long stick), Danbong (short stick), Nunchucku (nun chucks) and
Bokken (sword)
- Sparring squad – for those interested in competing in tournaments
- Demonstration team – for those with a little bit of “show-off” in them
- Girls Grappling – a girls only BJJ class for those that don’t feel comfortable rolling with the boys
- Instructors team – provides special training for our instructors and soon to be instructors on how to become a great leader and
motivator, and how to teach a great class
- Ronin class – you’ll only find out about this when you get the invite.
